Abstract This research provides a new framework for improving media literacy and dealing with gender discrimination in women's sports. With the aim of investigating this issue, the research was carried out using a descriptive and survey method in two parts, qualitative and quantitative. In the qualitative part, primary data was collected through interviews with female champions of Asia and the world and professors in the field of media management in sports. These interviews were conducted purposefully and by snowball method, and theoretical saturation was reached after 25 interviews. In the quantitative part, information was collected through questionnaires among female national athletes and physical education graduates and 450 valid questionnaires were analyzed. The results showed that media literacy, which includes information sources, media selection, honesty, responsibility, and compliance with social values, can affect the improvement of professional ethics in sports. These findings show that by teaching media literacy, a better management of gender discrimination in women's sports can be achieved.

Abstract This study investigated Barriers to Total Communication Method (TCM) Encountered by Teachers of Pupils with Hearing Impairments (PwHIs) in Special Primary Schools in Tanzania. The study was led by particular goals: Resourceful barriers hinder teachers’ implementation of TCM in teaching for PwHIs in special primary schools and assessing instructional barriers that hinder teachers’ implementation of TCM in teaching for PwHIs in special primary schools. The study was founded on Maslow’s Hierarchy of Needs theory by Abraham Maslow during his lifetime in 1908 to 1970. A phenomenology design was used in the study. The population consisted of teachers and pupils with PwHIs in special primary schools. The researchers collected data using observation and interview guides. Thematic analysis revealed shortages of listening and hearing aids, inadequacy of sign language interpreters, and Environmental noise in the special classrooms as resourceful barriers limiting effective Total communication. The study further uncovered inadequate skills on TCM among teachers, Time constraints for implementing TCM in special classrooms as instructional barriers. Based on these findings, the study recommends some key strategies to overcome the challenges they faced including professional development (both fresh and in-service teachers ) to incorporate a special course on total communication method, that addresses diverse communicative needs of PwHIs in special primary schools. The study further recommends on the availability of alerting assistive devices, teaching and learning materials, and collaboration among teachers in special schools to minimise or overcome barriers during implementing the method.

Abstract Purpose: Academic resilience is the capacity of prospective teachers to persist, adapt and achieve in their academic activities in the face of difficulties, hindrances, or adverse conditions. The context of academic resilience among prospective teachers can be influenced by various factors which are included in his study. The purpose of this study was to compare the academic resilience of the prospective teachers of West Bengal in terms of their gender, residential setup, and family income. Here, academic resilience is studied overall and its three different dimensions i.e., (i) perseverance, (ii) reflecting and adaptive help-seeking and (iii) negative affect and emotional response separately.
Method: The present study was conducted using a descriptive survey approach. B.Ed. Students were the participants, and five hundred and three samples were considered using simple random techniques. A standardized tool named the Academic Resilience Scale (ARS-30) by Simon Cassidy (2016) was used to collect the relevant data. Data were analysed through descriptive and inferential statistics.
Findings: The study found that academic resilience is not determined by the gender of prospective teachers when it is considered either overall or dimension-wise separately. However, the Nature of the residential setup and family income greatly contributed to developing their academic resilience.

Abstract In the context of increasing university mergers, this study investigates the use of technology to facilitate cross-campus teaching interaction and enhance student learning experiences. Focusing on National Yang Ming Chiao Tung University (NYCU), we compared Face-to-Face Extended (FTFx), traditional Face-to-Face (FTF), and 2D Virtual Classroom (VC) course modalities. Employing a quasi-experimental design, we analyzed the flow state and discussion behaviors of students enrolled in the "Learning and Reading Comprehension Strategies" course during "World Café" discussions in 2022 and 2023. Data were collected through questionnaires and classroom video recordings, and analyzed using quantitative content analysis and lag sequential analysis. Results indicated no significant differences in flow state and discussion behaviors between FTFx and FTF courses, both of which were significantly higher than VC courses. Discussion sequences were similar across FTFx, FTF, and VC. The findings suggest that the FTFx model is a viable solution for synchronous extended classrooms in multi-campus universities, promoting cross-campus resource sharing and student interaction while maintaining the benefits of traditional face-to-face instruction. This study provides insights for the future development of higher education.

Abstract Undoubtedly, one of the factors affecting organizational sustainability is succession planning. The main reason is that succession planning is active and aligned with the organization's overall strategy, so it requires a succession management strategy to support its sustainability. In this article, in line with the relationship between the issues of possible problems resulting from the lack of attention to succession planning and employee training, as well as the existence of a research gap regarding the relationship between succession planning, training, and organizational sustainability in the country and scientific literature, the main research question is what is the impact of succession planning on organizational sustainability about the mediating role of employee training in the Greater Tehran Electric Power Distribution Company. The structural equation modeling method has been used to answer this question. The statistical population of the present study is the employees of the Greater Tehran Electricity Distribution Company, which is equal to 5000 people, and based on the Cochran method, the statistical sample is 357 people. Training acts as an intervention to improve the quality of the organization's goods and services in tough competition by enhancing the technical skills of the employees, which confirms the necessity of conducting research in this regard, because without knowing this field, the employees' technical skills cannot be improved.

Abstract This study aims to elucidate the necessity of utilizing the "Ata Virtual Science Laboratory" in elementary science education and to assess the performance of this simulated software. As the first virtual laboratory in Iran, alongside the limited availability of simulation software, this innovation plays a crucial role in deepening and accelerating the learning of experimental aspects in elementary science curricula. Accordingly, the objective of this research is to assess the success or failure of the "Ata Virtual Science Laboratory" based on the criteria of innovation diffusion. The theoretical and practical framework selected for this study is Everett Rogers' globally recognized Innovation Diffusion Theory. The five key criteria of this model (relative advantage, compatibility, complexity, trialability, and observability) provide a comprehensive foundation for evaluating any innovation. Methodologically, this research follows a quantitative approach in data collection and is categorized as descriptive-survey research. The statistical population of the study comprises elementary school teachers in Iran, with a sample of 70 teachers from four districts of Karaj and the Kaghazkonan region in East Azerbaijan province. The sampling method was non-probabilistic and convenience-based. For data analysis, an independent t-test and statistical techniques (descriptive and inferential) were employed. The results indicate that, from the teachers' perspective, the Ata Virtual Science Laboratory aligns with the five attributes of Rogers' theory. The level of alignment or success of all components was above average and statistically significant. Finally, research limitations were discussed, and practical and research-based recommendations were provided for future studies.
